Flamingo Island

Flamingo Island, the home and breeding grounds of 50 Flamingos, who are grey at birth and through proper care and feeding obtain a coral to deep pink coloring, at Busch Gardens, home of Anheuser-Busch's fifty-one million dollar Budweiser, Michelob, and Busch Bavarian Brewery, located in Los Angeles, California.

Mission San Fernando from Memory Garden

Mission San Fernando from Memory Garden, and Father Junipero Serra Statue Mission San Fernando, Rey de Espana, the seventeenth Mission, is situated in the beautiful San Fernando Valley, about twenty miles northeast from Los Angeles. It was founded September 8th, 1797, and dedicated in honor of Fernando III, King of Spain.

Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana

San Fernando Mission. Founded in California 1797. The Convento is the main part of the Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana (St. Ferdinand, King of Spain) still standing. In the garden in front of the Mission is the Star Fountain, a copy of one in Cordova, Spain, built more than 100 years ago by the Indians under direction of the Padres, also there is a statue of Padre Sierra, founder of the Missions.
