"The Gold Line, which opened in July 2003, operates between Downtown Los Angeles and eastern Pasadena, with 16,000 average weekday boardings. The Gold line uses two-car trains, with the exception of one-car trains used during the evenings and weekend mornings. Seen here is a two-car train at the Lincoln/Cypress station, with its final destination being the Sierra Madre Villa station. Lincoln/Cypress station is an elevated Metro Rail station, located at Lacy Street and Ave 26, which is adjacent to the Golden State Freeway and Pasadena Freeway interchange. It offers 91 free park/ride lot spaces. Travel time to Union Station is approximately 5 minutes, and to the Sierra Madre Villa station, approximately 31 minutes.
