"The Gold Line, which opened in July 2003, operates between Downtown Los Angeles and eastern Pasadena, with 16,000 average weekday boardings. The Gold line uses two-car trains, with the exception of one-car trains used during the evenings and weekend mornings. Seen here is a two-car train at the Lincoln/Cypress station, with its final destination being the Sierra Madre Villa station. Lincoln/Cypress station is an elevated Metro Rail station, located at Lacy Street and Ave 26, which is adjacent to the Golden State Freeway and Pasadena Freeway interchange.
